Rebecca Vallance is committed to the use of sustainable materials in their designs, prioritising natural fibers and recycled synthetics wherever possible. Some of these materials include certified organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled textured crepe, and ECONYL regenerated nylon.

Rebecca Vallance is a proud member of SEDEX and the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI). They work closely with their supply chain partners to uphold the United Nations Guiding Principles on business and human rights and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) core conventions, ensuring ethical and sustainable practices across all levels of the supply chain.

Annual audits are conducted to ensure compliance with the ETI Base Code, covering areas such as workers' rights, health and safety, and environmental performance. This approach maintains a transparent and sustainable supply chain upholding high ethical standards in the fashion industry.

Vallance was born in Ballarat, Victoria, in 1980. She is the eldest of three children and attended Ballarat High School.
